I’m a big fan of Laurelin Paige’s Fixed series and kept seeing this book cover floating around my fellow reviewers must read list, it was defiantly calling my name. Seriously, I don’t know why I waited so long but I’m glad I did because I was able to read the conclusion book right after, I would of freaked out if I didn’t have the second book. I was absolutely addicted to this duet, Kincaid rocked my socks off with his dominant sexy, intense attitude and poor damaged Sabrina, that girl hit me in the feels with her roller coaster life. But damn, I must say my heart took a massive beating, the intense connection and this alpha male is nothing like I’ve read about before, he is one-of-a-kind, I hated him and loved him.Dirty Filthy Rich Men includes the Dirty Filthy Rich Boys in the prologue, so I was happily introduced the intense college days of Kincaid and Sabrina. Sabrina had a traumatic college experience, Kincaid not only saved her but damaged her in more ways than one. Now years after their heated interaction, Sabrina’s college crush Weston King offers her a position with his company. And even though the offer comes after a passionate night together, he knows she has the experience and will power to handle the job. That is however until Sabrina comes face to face with the man who knows more about her than she knows, Donovan Kincaid.
I don’t want to give anymore away, but I can’t begin to explain the relationship of Sabrina and Donovan, it’s dirty, filthy, smoking hot, NSFW, holy smokes that just happened intense. I felt for Sabrina, who was stuck in this turmoil of emotions, she needed Donovan, needed him to make the bad memories go away, and Donovan wanted anything and everything Sabrina, but Sabrina had no clue how addicted he was to her.
Don’t get me wrong, the sexy romance is fantastic, but there is a story, this is very much character driven and both have some difficult pasts and experience that they need to heal from. But I was so hooked, the secondary characters were not only hilarious, but they all had crap going on that mixed with the leads, it was a great introduction and this is one story I couldn’t put down.
Warning, there is a cliffhanger, so thank goodness, the second book is out and it doesn’t disappoint. Make sure you brace yourself before starting this, it’s going to be a long night.
